I was coming home from a party. Exhausted and drunk, I didn’t utter a word throughout the whole ride. I just stared out the car window.

Now, here’s the thing about staring out the window. We all do it. Most people do it without even realizing. This is a time for visual fascination. Fascination about our surroundings. About things that we have no control over. About things that often have nothing to do with our lives. The trees in the middle of the asphalt. The strangers walking. The grafittis. The lamp posts that barely work. The grass. The shadows. The sky. The rain …

The reality is that our minds are often hyper-focused on the activities and movements of our everyday lives that it is incredibly hard to see the big picture. To have a time to be aware of our surroundings. A time for perspective.

In this website, our aim is to expose your minds to philosophy. Yes, philosophy is complicated. It discusses hard-to-comprehend ideas that talk abstractly about the very nature of existence, and basically everything, written in an unnecessarily cryptic way. And, honestly, we can't be bothered with such ideas. C’mon, we have better stuff to do. But we miss the point entirely.

These ideas deserve tackling as they built the beliefs of entire civilizations. Believe it or not, they determine the very way we live.
